     Almond Fudge Topped Shortbread

1 c butter softened
1/2 powdered sugar
1/4 t salt
1 1/4 c flour
2 c chocolate chips
1 can Eagle Brand Milk
1/2 t almond extract
sliced almonds

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9x13 pan. Beat butter, sugar and salt until fluffy. Add flour, mix well. Press into pan. Bake about 20 minutes. Melt the chocolate chips in the Eagle Brand. Pour on cooled crust, top with sliced almonds if desired. Chill, cut in squares.
