     Velvet Crumb Cake

Ingredients
1 1/3 c. Bisquick
3/4 c. sugar
3 T. shortening
1 egg
2/3 c. milk, divided
1 t. vanilla
Topping-
3 T. shortening
 
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 T. milk
1/2 c. coconut (or wheaties)

Instructions
Grease 8x8 inch dish. Mix together bisquick and sugar. Add 3 T shortening, egg and 1/3 c. milk. Beat together.
Add 1/3 c. more milk and beat. Pour into pan.
Bake at 350. Check after 25 min. Cake is done when toothpick comes out clean.
TOPPING- Combine shortening, brown sugar, 2 T. milk and coconut. Spread over cake and broil until topping bubbles. WATCH CAREFULLY!
