     Strawberry Pie

Ingredients
1 quart fresh strawberries, clean and de-stemmed
1 c. sugar
3 T. corn starch
3 drops red food coloring
1- 9 inch baked pie shell
 
Instructions
Divide strawberries into 2 equal parts and mash 1/2. Add sugar, cornstarch and food coloring to mashed strawberries. Cook, stirring until thickened.
Put remaining strawberries into filling and pour into pie shell.
Refrigerate 2 hours or more.
Top with whipped cream and serve.
