Macaroni Noodles (Whole Wheat)..enough for 9x13 pan
3 TBLSPN Butter
4 Peppers - 2 Green 2 Red
Jalepeno Pepper
2 TBLSPN Flour (wheat if possible)
2 Cups Milk
3/4 - 1 cup - Asiago Cheese
3/4 - 1 cup - Monteray Jack Cheese
3/4 - 1 cup - Parmesan
3/4 - 1 cup - White Chedder Cheese
1 cup or more - Yellow Cheddar Cheese
Bread Crumbs (If desired)
Instructions
Boil Macaronni, but do not over cook and set aside. Grill Peppers in quarters - then chop and set aside. Dice jalepeno peppers.
Grease 9 x 13 baking dish well!
In a large pot, melt butter, then add the milk and wisk to mix well. Add in chopped grilled peppers and jalapeno diced, add all cheeses and continue wisking. The cheese doesn't have to be completely melted during this process, as it will melt when cooking.
In well greased backing dish, add noodles and spread evenly. Top noodles with cheese mixture, and stir in to get mixture throughly mixed in.
At this point, add a sprinkle of breadcrumbs. If more spice is desired -- at a sprinkle of chilli or cayenne pepper over dish.
Cook on grill for 12-15 minutes. Careful removing -- baking dish will be very HOT!
