     Cheesecake, Pumpkin

Ingredients
CRUST
1 c graham cracker crumbs, cinnamon is good
1 T sugar
4 T butter or margerine, melted
FILLING
2 8 oz cream cheese, softened
3/4 c sugar
1 16 oz pumpkin
1 1/4 t cinnamon
 
1/2 t each- ginger and nutmeg
1/4 t salt
2 eggs
TOPPING-
2 c sour cream
2 T sugar
1 t vanilla
12-16 pecan halves
Fresh whipped cream, at serving time.

Instructions
Combine crust ingredients. Press into bottom of 9 inch springform pan. Chill. For filling- Beat cream cheese and sugar in a large mixing bowl until well blended. Beat in pumpkin and spices, including salt. add eggs, one at a time beating well after each. Pour into crust. Bake at 350 for about 50 minutes. Meanwhile, for topping- Combineeverything, spread over the filling and return to oven for 5 minutes. Cool on rack, chill overnight. Garnish each slice with a pecan half and fresh whipped cream if desired.
