     German Potato Salad

Ingredients
4 medium potatoes, diced
1 onion, sliced
6 slices bacon, crumbled
Dressing-
3 TB sugar
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
 
2 TB water
2 TB parsley
bacon drippings

Instructions
Boil potatoes and onions until tender. Drain.
Fry bacon till tender crips. Drain and crumble.
Mix all dressing ingredients. Stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
Pour dressing over potatoes, onions and bacon. (May want to add some of the bacon drippings for flavor.) Let stand at room temperature awhile to blend flavors.
Serving Suggestions
Serve warm or room temperature.
