     Layered Taco Dip

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 pkg (1.25 oz) reduced-sodium taco seasoning
1 can (16oz) refried beans
1 lb ripe tomatoes, chopped (about 3/4 c)
6 scallions, trimmed and chopped (about 3/4 c)
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
 
1 pkg (8oz) shredded taco chesse blend
1 c. sour cream
baked tortilla chips, for dipping

Instructions
Cook ground beek in lg nonstick skillet over med-high heat for 5 min, until browned, stirring occasionally. Stir in 3/4c water and taco seasoning. Reduce heat to med-low and simmer 5 min stirring occasionally. Stir in refried beans until well combined and heated through. Set aside
In a med-size bowl, mix together tomatoes, 1/2 c of the scallions, the sugar,garlic salt and black pepper. In a second med-size bowl, mix together 1 1/2c of the shredded cheese and the sour cream.
In an 8 c clear bowl,layer healf each of the beef mixture, tomatoes and sour cream mixture. Repeat layering. Scatter remaining 1/4 c scallions and 1/2 c cheese over the top. Serve at room temp
