Ingredients
4 cups water
1 cup grits
1 teaspoon salt
 

Instructions
Bring water to a boil.
Add salt and grits and return to a boil.
Simmer on low, covered, for approximately 5 minutes.
Stir and taste for seasoning.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with tomato gravy for a true southern breakfast.
