Heat- half-and-half in a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat
until small bubbles form around edge. Remove from heat, stir in
chocolate chips and mix until melted. Cool slightly. Whisk
together eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt. Fold 1 cup cooled
chocolate mixture into egg mixture. Combine egg mixture with
remaining cooled chocolate and pour over bread cubes, mix
until bread is well coated. Cover and let stand at room
temperature 30 mins.
