Ingredients
2 c sugar
3/4 c light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c butter
2 c canned milk
1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)
 

Instructions
Combine sugar, syrup, butter, and one cup of the milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Gradually stir in remaining cup of cream.
Cook to 254 degrees or firm ball stage, stirring constantly. Pour into buttered 8 inch square pan after adding nuts and vanilla. When cold, cut into squares.
