     Beans - Feijoada (Beans/Rice) CROCKPOT

Ingredients
4-5 cans pinto beans (kidney/black ok)
1 hamhock
2-3 beef bouillion cubes
1 bay leaf
Little Smokies smoked sausage (kielbasa)
garlic salt to taste
onions, chopped (optional)
 

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in crockpot except the sausage. Crock for 24 hours on LOW adding water as necessary.
During the last 6 hours of cooking, remove the bones from the hamhock and add the sausage.
Serve over brown or white rice, drizzled with olive oil if desired.
