28 large white mushrooms, stemmed
|

6 T. butter
|

1 small onion
|

2 cloves garlic
|
|
1 (3oz) pkg cream cheese
|

3 T. Parmesean
|
|
parsley
|

1 c., herb seasoned croutons
|

Instructions |
|
|
Melt 2 T. butter, brush caps.
|
|
|
Chop stems, onion & garlic. Heat in remaining butter for 2 minutes.
|
|
|
Stir in cream cheese, take off heat. Add parmesean, chopped parsley and crushed croutons. (seasoned breadcrumbs also work)
|
|
|
Spoon into mushroom caps and bake at 425° for 10 minutes
|

Suggestions |
|
Place caps onto a nice tray or plate, serve hot.
