     Root Beer Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup oleo
2 tsp. root beer extract
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
3 1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
 
glaze
1/3 cup oleo
2 cups powdered sugar
2 Tbs hot water
3 tsp root beer extract
Instructions
cream oleo and brown sugar. add eggs, extract and buttermilk. add sifted dry ingredients chill.
drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet. bake at 375 for 8 min.
glaze beat glaze ingredients until smooth. spread on slightly cooled cookies.
