     Fruit Protein Smoothie with Fiber

Ingredients
½ cup dannon all natural yogurt (has less sugar than lite)
½ cup 2% milk
1-3 tablespoons sugar substitute (depending on your substitute. Splenda)
1 tablespoon salba seeds
1 scoop vanilla soy protein
10 ice cubes
 

Instructions
Cut up fresh fruit and place in blender. Blend until well blended. Add salba seeds, yogurt, milk, blend and scrape sides of blender. Taste to see how much sugar substitute you need. Add 1 tablespoon at a time of sugar substitute until this is sweet enough for you. Add the 1 scoop of vanilla soy protein and blend. Scrape sides of blender. Add the ice cubes and blend well. Pour into glass and enjoy.
Recipe note/comments- This protein drink will substitute as a meal and is great for losing a little weight, or make for a great energy drink for the kids in the afternoon instead of sodas. Adding the salba seeds adds 79 mg potassium, 4.1 grams fiber, 2.5 grams protein, 2740 mg omega 3, 760 mg omega 6, and 250 mg omega 9.
