     Hearty Hash Brown Dinner

Ingredients
3 cup frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup onion, chopped or 1 tbsp minced
1 (16 oz) package frozen california blend vegetables
1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
12 oz process cheese (velvetta), cubed
 
1 (2.8 oz) can french-fried onions

Instructions
Place potatoes in a lightly greased 5 quart slow cooker; sprinkle with salt and pepper. In a skillet, cook beef & onion, drain. Spoon over potatoes. Top with vegetables.
Combine soup & milk; pour over vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 4-4 1/2 hours.
Stir in cheese; cover & cook 30 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle french-fried onions before serving.
