Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
Starter-
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup warm water
3 tbs. instant potatoes
Bread-
1 1/2 cups warm water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 tbs. salt
1 cup starter
6 cups Pillsbury Bromate Bread Flour

Instructions
Preparing starter- Put initial starter in refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. Remove starter from refrigerator and set aside on cabinet. Prepare starter mix (above) into separate bowl. Add it to the starter and let stand at room temperature all day, it should bubble. At end of day, take out one cup to make bread. Return remaining starter to refrigerator and feed again every 3 to 5 days.
Making Bread- Grease large bowl to put dough in- turn over so it will be oiled on all sides. Cover bowl lightly with aluminum foil and let it sit out overnight at room temperature. Next morning- punch down and knead dough 4 times and separate into three parts. Knead each piece 10 to 12 minutes each and put in greased and floured loaf pans. Let stand 5 hours to all day. Cover with wax paper while rising, GREASE TOP OF EACH LOAF WITH OIL WHEN YOU PUT LOAF IN.
Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes (until brown) on lower middle rack of oven. When done, brush tops of bread with butter and remove from pans to cool on rack. Enjoy a warm piece of bread!
