1 (1.90 oz) box frozen mini phyllo shells, thawed and crumbled
1/3 cup honey
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13X9 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray. Using hands, press sugar cookie dough evenly into bottom of prepared pan. Bake for 15-18 mins.
In a medium bowl, place walnuts, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup butter, and allspice. Using a fork, stir together until mixture is well combined and crumbly.
Sprinkle walnut mixture over partially baked cookie crust. Sprinkle crumbled phyllo shells over walnut mixture. Bake for 25-30 mins or until golden brown.
In a small microwave-safe bowl, place honey, 2 tbsp butter, brown sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Microwave, uncovered, on High for 1 min 30 seconds, or until bubbly. Stir in vanilla. Drizzle honey mixture over baked cookie mixture. Let cool completely in pan on a wire rack (about 2 hours). Cut into 9 large squares. Cut each square diagonally into 2 triangles.
