Mix shortening, sugar and eggs until creamy.

|
Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.
|
|
|
|
Mix milk and vanilla in a cup.
|
|
|
|
Add a small amout of flour mixture and mix well. Add some of milk mixture and mix well. Continue alternating until everything is mixed together. Bake at 375 degrees until a tooth pick incerted in the middle comes out clean.
