     Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp

Ingredients
2 lbs fresh rhubarb
1 (3-oz) pkg strawberry-flavored gelatin
1/2 cup unsifted flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter or regular margarine melted
 

Instructions
Wash rhubarb; cut off and discard leaves. Cut stalks in 3/4-inch pieces. Arrange rhubarb (5 cups)in greased 8-inch square glass baking dish. Sprinkle with strawberry-flavored gelatin; set aside.
Combine flour, sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon in bowl. Add butter and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over rhubarb. Bake at 350-degree oven until 50 minutes or until rhubarb is tender before serving. Makes 6 servings.
