Ingredients
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. baking cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
2 c. boiling water
2/3 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
 
2 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
Mix dry ingredients together.
Add water, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
Mix well.
Lightly grease bottom only of baking pan. Bake at 325 for 25 min. in large sheet pan. Test for doneness with toothpick (insert in center, if comes out clean, is done), or touch gently in center with finger (if springs back, is done), OR done when separates from side of pan.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with whipped cream or traditional white frosting.
