     Peanut Sauce

Ingredients
1 medium onion, chopped
2T. canola oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1 T. sugar (splenda)
1 T. chili powder
2 T. lemon juice
2 T. soy sauce
 
1/4 t. salt

Instructions
In small saucepan, saute onion in oil until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Add the water, peanut butter, sugar and chili powder. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Remove from the heat; stir in the lemon juice, soy sauce and salt.

Serving Suggestions
Toss with noodles, marinate meat or dip for chicken, chicken wings, potstickers or wontons.
