cut tops off of the strawberries and cut into as small of pieces as you want and put into a large pot. Pour water into pot and bring to a boil. Preheat oven to 400

Put dish and butter into preheated oven until butter is melted. Mean while mix flour 1 cup of sugar and milk into the consistency of cake batter.

Once strawberries have reached a boil turn the eye off and add in 2 cups of sugar to the strawberries. Be sure the sugar is melted and mixed well.

Once the butter has melted pour in the flour mixture. Once the mixture is in the dish pour the strawberry mixture over it. Place in oven and cook until crust is brown. Serve hot and with a scoop of ice cream.
