     Smoked Salmon Cheese Log

Category   Appetizers
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1 (14 oz can) salmon
1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 tsp liquid smoke
2 tbsp chopped green pepper
1 tbsp grated onion
1 tsp prepared horseradish
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup slice toasted almond

Instructions
Drain, debone and flake salmon. Mix with all other ingredients except sliced almonds. Mixture may be formed into a log or ball, then rolled in almonds (if too soft, chill for an hour or so before rolling in nuts). Or it may be formed in a fish shape and decorated with almonds as scales.
Chill to blend flavors and serve with crackers. (Attractive served on bed of lettuce.)
Hint- If any of this is left over, it makes wonderful salmon patties-just add an egg and some cracker crumbs and saute patties.
