Soak rice in 3 cups cold water for 30 minutes. Stir and drain in colander. Add the rice to remaining 3 cups water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Let boil 2 to 3 minutes or until big crater bubbles appears. Turn heat to low and cover for 20 minutes. Turn heat off and let rest 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
