Sift together Flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa.
Cream butter and Crisco. Add sugar and cream. Add eggs, one at a time and beat.
Stop using mixer and add flour and milk, alternating, beginning and ending with flour, stirring by hand. (If using wooden spoon splinter, stir in here.)
Bake in tube pan at 325, 1 hr and 15 min. When cooks away from pan and cake springs back to touch, cake is done.
