Cook cavatappi in lightly salted boiling water as package directs. While pasta cooks, put tomatoes in a bowl; add 1 tbsp olive oil and salt and toss. Let stand, tossing occasionally. About 5 mins before pasta will be done, heat 1 tsp olive oil in a large nonstick skillet. Add shrimp; saute 3 mins or until shrimp are just cooked through. Add garlic; toss over low heat 30 seconds. Remove from heat and stir in tomatoes and juices from bowl; toss. Drain pasta; return to pot. Add shrimp mixture, basil and 1 tbsp olive oil; toss.
