Ingredients |

1 c. thinly sliced onions
|
|
2 c. garlic, minced
|
|
2 Tbs. olive oil
|
|
16 oz. can tomatoes, drained
|
|
1/3 c. juice from tomatoes ( add water if necessary)

2 cloves garlic
|
|
1 1/2 lbs. green beans or 2 10 oz. pkgs. frozen
|
|
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions |
|
|
Cook onions and garlic in oil. Add tomatoes, juice and garlic cloves.
|
|
|
Blanche green beans (if fresh, if frozen run under water to thaw. Add beans to skillet. Cook 4 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
