     Confederate Gravy

Ingredients
1/2 cup flour
1 cup milk
salt and pepper, to taste
 

Instructions
To avoid lumps, put milk and flour in a mason jar and shake vigorously until blended. Cook bacon or sausage and remove meat from pan, turn heat up to medium-high and add milk mixture to hot pan, salt and pepper to taste and stir constantly until it thickens and browns a bit.
Serving Suggestions
Great over biscuits, chicken, country fried steak...anything!
