     Pull Taffy

Ingredients
2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 tsp cram of tartar
 

Instructions
Combine sugar, corn syrup, water and cream of tartar. Place over heat. Stir until sugar dissolves. Cook without stirring until very hard ball stage (260 degrees).
Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour on greased platter. When cool enough to handle, pull until taffy is snow white and porous. Twist into rope, cut with scissors.
