     Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients
2 cups canned pumpkin
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups half and half
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2/3 cup brown sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teasopoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
 
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
9 inch hand made pie crust

Instructions
I would always know that Christmas was just around the corner when my mom would bring home countless cans of pumpkin. She would stay up all night baking her famous pumpkin pie. It was always hard for me to go to sleep that night because i would be so excited to take that first delicious bite of pie in the morning. When morning rolled around, I would get up and practically run to the kitchen fridge where I knew those lucious pies would be. Taking the following steps for making your pumpkin pie will gaurantee the same satisfaction...
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees then mix all your ingredients into a great big bowl.
Place pie crust in a buttered pan and pour contents on top.
Place in the oven and leave it to cook for 40-45 minutes or until pie filling is firm.
Serving Suggestions
Serve cold with whipped cream and enjoy!
