Instructions
When I was 13 years old I cut beef and pork out of my diet. I was not sure how I would survive without tasting the wonderful smothered porkchops that my mom and granny used to make. My mom was determined to find something to take its place. While at the store, we found what soon became my new love, turkey cutlets. We bought them and attempted to replicate the recipe with a different type of meat. I have enjoyed this dish with glazed carrots after every major event in my life, i.e. soccer games, school plays, and even my high school graduation. To make this same meal for a health conscience person just follow these next few simple steps.
~Chop onion ~Place turkey cutlets in pyrex dish and season with salt and pepper ~Pour onion, cream of mushroom soup, and cream of chicken soup on top of meat
Place pyrex dish in oven and cook at 350 for about 40 min or until turkey is fully cooked
~Put washed baby carrots in a bowl and add a spoonful of butter, a little bit of water and sprinkle with brown sugar ~Place in microwave and cook until carrots are tender
