Ingredients
1 lb flour
4 large eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1 lb powdered sugar
butter, size of egg
Anise seed
 

Instructions
Mix sugar, butter, eggs and 1 Tbsp milk. Beat for 1/2 hours. Add flour. Roll 1/8 inch thick. Cut into shapes. Sprinkle with anise seed. Let stand overnight.
Bake 225 degrees for 45 minutes.
