Instructions
For the past 19 years I have had Sunday dinner at Grandma and Grandpas. I had never understand the meaning of this tradition until Sunday dinner at Grandma and Grandpas turned into grilled cheese at Devils Diner. Every Sunday no matter what was being served that night there was always a bowl of spicy chillie and Mission Tortilla chips. I have never tasted chillie like my grandmas chillie, the spicy kick of the green peppers with the juicy red tomatoes make the perfect balance. For as long as I can remember I walk into to grandmas house, grab a cold diet coke sit at the table and eat my chillie and chips. It is not the chillie that makes these trips to grandma and grandpas house to memorable it is spending time with my nana and papa. Now you can enjoy what makes my childhood memories at grandma and grandpas so memorable.
First you must roast the green chillie peppers. This takes about 7-10 minutes. Second you must chop the tomatoes and tomateos. Put into blender with cumen, garlic salt and salt. Lastly chop the chillie peppers and put into blender. Blend until in a nice chillie mixture.
