My small, simple family made eating together a usual thing all throughout my life. We would all gather together around the brightly lit table, eagerly looking for the main dish. The biggest smiles came to me when I would see my mom's smokin’ soy salmon laying there on the table. Seeing that salmon may seem a small thing to some, but to me it represents a great family heritage. It stands as a symbol of our family's desire to eat together (and eat well together for that matter). The salmon gently steaming while soaking in a wonderful mixture of soy and honey brings a wonderful sense of family and happiness to me. Do you want that tasty salmon on your table? Here is how to get it-

Take 1/3 cup of soy sauce and 1/3 cup of honey and mix well. Pour 1/3 of a cup mixture of soy sauce and honey into a bag. Place salmon into the bag and refrigerate for one day. After one day's time take salmon and cook on grill (or bake, according to your preference). As the salmon is being cooked, lather it with the remaining 1/3 cup of soy and honey mixture.
