Streusel- 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 1 tsp cinnamon. 1/2 cup melted margarine
Instructions
Combine hot water, margarine and sugar; let cool until lukewarm. Add yeast; let stand until dissolved. Add 3 cups flour and beat until smooth. Add eggs, lemon rind, and salt. Beat well. Add 3 more cups flour. cover and let rise until doubled.
Greas well four layer cake pans. Divide dough into pan and spread evenly about 1/2 inch thick. Pour about 1/4 cup evaporated milk over each cake and sprinkle with streusel. Cover with towel in warm place; let rise until doubled.
Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
