     Sauerkraut Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
2/3 cup butter or margarine softened
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cups cocoa (unsweetened)
2 1/4 cups sifted flour (all-purpose)
1 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
 
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 cups chopped, drained and rinsed sauerkraut
Cocoa Whipped Cream
Cocoa Whipped Cream-
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp vanilla in bowl
2 tbsp cocoa
2 tbsp sugar
Dash of salt

Instructions
Cake; Cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs with butter and sugar. Add flour sifted with dry ingredients and water. Stir in sauerkraut. Prepare 2 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until done.
Cocoa whipped Cream- Mix well and chill for 1 hour.
