     Beef Stew

Ingredients
1.5 lbs stew meat cut in 1 in. pieces
1 medium sliced onion
1 cup V-8 juice
2 cups carrots cut in 1 in. pieces
2 cups potatoes cut in 1 in. pieces
1 cup celery, diced
1 cup rutabage diced
1 cup freshly chopped tomatoes
1 tsp salt
 
pinch of pepper

Instructions
Flour stew meat and brown in 2 tbs of oil.
Add liquid and cook slowly until tender, about 1.5 hours.
Add the rest of the ingredients and continue cooking 30 mins or until vegetables are tender.
