     (OZ) SPANISH RICE

Ingredients
2 cups instant WHITE RICE
14oz can DICED TOMATOES w/liquid
1 can Campbells TOMATO SOUP
1 cup WATER
4 Tbl. diced ONION
3 Tbl. diced GREEN BELL PEPPER
2 Tbl. diced GREEN CHILES (canned)
1 BEEF BOUILLON CUBE
GARLIC POWDER, to taste
 
CHILI POWDER, to taste
(optional) pre-cooked chicken pieces

Instructions
Dissolve bouillon cube in 1 cup boiling water.
Add tomato soup and diced tomatoes, stir. Add onion, pepper, and chilies, and sprinkle with garlic and chili powder to taste.
Quickly return to a hard boil, stirring, and immediately stir in rice. Cover and remove from heat. Stir after 5 minutes and re-cover until liquid is absorbed (about 10 minutes more).
Serving Suggestions
Serve with Mexican-style dishes or add pre-cooked chicken pieces for a complete meal.
