Ingredients
1 box of Penne Rigate
1 lbs of hamburger
1 small onion (or half of a medium to large onion)
1 green pepper
1 package of italian zesty spaghetti seasoning mix
1 can of tomato sauce (28 oz)
1 can of cubed tomato (14.5 oz)
basil
garlic powder
 
italian seasoning

Instructions
Chop onion Heat cooking or olive oil in medium/large pan (medium heat) Add onions to pan and saute them Add hamburger Cook till meat is well browned (not burned) Chop green pepper and add to pan - mix well Add cubed tomato and mix (low heat) Add spaghetti seasoning mix and mix Add tomato sauce and mix Rinse both cans of tomatoes with a little water (about an 1/8 cup) and add to pan and mix well
Turn heat to medium and cover pan as soon as it starts bubbling turn heat to low and mix well add other spices and mix well keep covered and mix often and cook for about 15 to 20 min.
While sauce is cooking- Get another pan, add water, add salt and boil until water reaches a rapid boil Then follow cooking directions for pasta on the box
Mix everything together when it's all cooked.
