1 (8-oz pkg) braunschweiger liver sausage

1 (8-oz pkg) cream cheese
|

1 tbsp chopped onion
|

2 tbsp lemon juice
|

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions |

|
Combine softened cream cheese and sausage. Mix well and add onion, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce and seasonings and mix well again.

Mold into a ball shape or put in a serving bowl. Chill. It's best to make the day before serving as it gives the onion, etc. time to draw through.
|
|
|
Serve on party rye bread or crackers of your choice.
|
|
|
Variation- A small jar of sweet pickle relish, drained, can be substituted for the chopped onion, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.
