Put egg, salt, dry mustard, paprika, vinegar and 4 tbsp vegetable oil in blender. Blend 30 seconds on low speed. Gradually and very slowly add rest of the vegetable oil. Blend 30 seconds or until thick.
It it does not emulsify, pour mixture into another container. Clean blender well, beat 1 egg then slowly pour mixture into beaten egg, beat until thick.
