Cut new potatoes into thick slices. Slice desired amount of onion. Wipe the inside of each disposable pie plate with olive oil. Place half the potatoes and onions in each pan.

Drizzle olive oil over potatoes/onions and sprinkle with sea salt and cracked pepper. Toss to coat potatoes/onions. You can add other spices if you wish.

Tear off a piece of aluminum foil to cover each pie plate. Wipe one side with olive oil, place oil side down over potatoes, and seal all around edge of pie plate.

|
Put pie plates on preheated grill and cook for 20 minutes on medium/medium-low. Serve immediately.
I've found separating the potatoes into two pans helps them cook more evenly.
