2 lbs lean ground turkey
|

1 lg can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
|

16-oz can low-sodium stewed tomatoes, undrained

2 8-oz cans low-sodium tomato sauce

2 med onions, diced

1 green pepper, chopped
|
|
2 cloves garlic, minced
|
|
Cumin, to taste
|
|
Chili powder, to taste
|

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 bottle beer (optional)

Instructions |

|
Brown ground turkey with onions, garlic, and green pepper in large skillet. Drain.
|

Combine all ingredients in slow cookder.
|
|
|
Cover. Cook on low 6-8 hours.
|

Optional toppings- shredded cheddar, shredded pepper jack cheese, tortilla chips, sour cream.
