1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine or butter, softened, divided
Instructions
Microwave chocolate in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes until chocolate is almost melted. stirring after each minute. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. OR, Melt chocolate in 3-qt saucepan on very low heat; stir constantly until just melted. Remove from heat.
Beat in sugar, milk, vanilla and 2 tbsp margarine with electric mixer on low speed until well blended. Beat in remaining margarine until smooth. If frosting becomes too thick, beat in additional milk by teaspoonfuls until of spreading consistency.
Makes about 3 cups.
