Cook sauce ingredients in sauce pan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and cook for 8 minutes. Then add 1 tsp vanilla and cool for 1 hour.
Crush oreos for crust. Combine with butter and press into 13X9 inch pan. You can also make 2 8X8 pans. Cool crust in freezer for 15 min.
Cut 1/2 gallon ice cream into slices and arange over crust.Pour cooled sauce over the top of ice cream and freeze for 2-3 hours. Let thaw 30 minutes before serving
