Servings   9x13 pan

Ingredients
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
1 cut butter - not margarine
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
 

Instructions
Butter 9x13 pan. Heat sugar and butter to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil approx 7 minutes until 290F (soft crack stage).
Quickly mix in nuts and pour into pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over candy. Cover with cookie sheet and let sit for 1 minute. Remove cookie sheet and spread softened chocolate chips evenly.
Cut while warm or chill and break.
DELICIOUS!! Better than the toffee candy bars you buy at the store and EASY to make.
