     Shrimp Creole

Ingredients
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup chopped pepper
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes (delmonte basil and garlic)
1 8 oz tomato sauce
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
 
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 dash hot sauce
1 pound medium shrimp
white rice (follow the chinese white rice recipe in side dishes)
add basil and salt/pepper to taste
add cayenne pepper to taste as well
add hot sauce to taste as well

Instructions
Melt butter and saute onion, pepper, and celery. Add garlic after 3-4 min. Mix cornstarch, tomato sauce, worcestershire sauce, chili powder, hot sauce and tomatoes. Pour over the trinity and bring to a boil. Add shrimp. Cook 5 minutes. Cook rice and pour the creole over the rice in individual bowls.
