Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1 bone in ham
1 lb brown sugar
1 12 oz can coca cola
1 14 oz can pineapple rings
1 cup red wine
1 jar marachino cherries, optional
1 small container whole cloves

Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 325. Score ham in cross hatch design/square pattern 1/4inch deep. Place 1 clove in center of each square. Place ham in roasting pan. Load ham with sugar. Use all of sugar. Some will fall off, but keep glomming it on. Bake until sugar just begins to melt...20-30 minutes.
Remove ham. Pour coke over ham and baste with sugar mixture in the bottom of the pan. Bake another 30 minutes. Combine 1 cup pineapple juice and wine and baste ham. Bake pan 15 minutes per pound basting every 30 minutes. During last 20 minutes, remove ham and decorate with pineapple ring on each square and cherry in the middle. Hold in place with toothpicks. Remember to remove toothpicks when serving.
The easy way..... Pack the sugar on the ham. Mix the coke and the wine. Pour the mixture liberally on the ham. Stuff it in the oven and baste every 20 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil after the first basting. Uses a meat thermometer to tell when it is done.
