Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, Use two forks and cut in the butter until it is like coarse corn meal. Stir in the apples.
Combine the egg, yogurt, milk and vanilla. Pour over apple flour mixture and combine. Place dough on a lightly floured surface and knead 4 to 5 times. Pat dough into a 7 inch diameter about 1 1/2 inch thick and cut into 8 wedges.
Whisk milk, egg, and cinnamon sugar and spread on top of wedges. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 23 minutes (lightly golden brown and toothpick inserted comes out clean). While baking, combine icing ingredients until it is the consistency for drizzling. After scones are slightly cooled drizzle with icing and enjoy.
