Tart crust, unbaked, in 10 inch tart pan (See Desktop recipe)
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
2 beaten eggs
2 tablespoons bourbon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups pecan halves or pieces
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare tart shell, unbaked (Desktop recipe), or buy
ready-made pie crust and fit into 10 inch tart pan, folding over edges and pressing to fit.
In a small saucepan combine sugar, corn syrup, and butter. Cook over medium until
butter is melted and sugar is dissolved. Let cool slightly.
In a large bowl combine eggs, bourbon, vanilla, and salt. Mix well. Slowly pour in sugar
mixture, whisking constantly.
Spread chocolate chips and pecans evenly over the bottom of the tart shell. Pour filling
mixture slowly over the top. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes, until filling is golden and
crust is browned. Serve at room temperature or chilled.

Wonderful with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
